I was surfing at the point last evening and it was pretty chilly. I came here to get a hot drink and didn't even have to request how I wanted it to look. The man behind the counter read my mind. He handed me a piping hot, hot chocolate, overflowing whipped cream and a little sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar on top. I took it with me and walked my dog along the point while watching the last shred of the sunset. It was a magical moment. Thank you. Also breakfast burritos are always bomb, get a small for yourself or a large if you're sharing/want a second meal later ;)

Seriously the best burritos in Santa Cruz. Great location too bc it is beach side. Do yourself a favor and next surf session, grab yourself a breakfast burrito before you leave! My favorite is the Barrel burrito, but the Cali burrito is also fire!

Best breakfast burrito I've had since Tangled Hearts Bakery in Groveland and Lucky Boy in Pasadena. The large is enough for 2 people. Fast service as well. Tried the chilaquiles but would prob either get them next time with eggs. Medium salsa is plenty spicy.

The point market is in pleasure point in Santa Cruz. It's a small market but has food also. It is cash only. Parking is tough in the area because it is a popular local and tourist spot. The staff was nice. The market is in older market with an insane amount of ball cap for sale but it has pretty much whatever you need. The food was pretty good for a little market. There is outside seating so you can enjoy the sound of the crashing waves, the smell of the salty air, and the beautiful warm sun. They do not have restrooms and you end up having to use the park ones across the street, which are pretty gross.

Cash only! But they have an ATM. An amazing little corner store/deli/counter eats. this beachside gem has the most amazing chicken club with chipotle aioli! The sando was packed with juicy, perfectly grilled chicken, crispy bacon, and fresh veggies (including avocado!) all tied together by that smoky, creamy chipotle aioli. The mouth watering flavors are something I'm going to be dreaming of. The ocean view made it even better. Perfect spot for a tasty bite after some fun in the sun or before hitting the waves. Highly recommend!

We stopped in here early in the morning for some breakfast and a sunrise on the beach and am so glad we did! The market is such an interesting place to stop in, with a wall of snacks and drinks, and they serve breakfast burritos, pastries, smoothies, Acia bowls, and coffees. We got a coffee, tea, and two breakfast burritos. Normally we are disappointed with the coffee quality at places like these but the coffee tasted really really good. I was also very impressed at their wide variety of tea selections. They had a bunch of interesting flavors that are hard to find anywhere else. As for the burritos, we ordered two small burritos and they were huge! You definitely get a good portion for the price you pay. Not to mention it was cooked to order, and tasted delicious. They had high quality tortillas, and a good ratio of eggs to the rest of the filling. Every thing tasted amazing and was well balanced, plus we got leftovers for breakfast the next morning. They weren't kidding when they said they had some of the best breakfast burritos in town. There also serve it with three different kinds of salsa which were all super fresh am yummy as well. I also love the locally owned feel here. Just in the twenty minutes we were here, we had a great conversation with some regulars and with the nice man working behind the counter. Everyone here is super friendly and easy to start a conversation with! If you are in the area (or simply don't feel like cooking breakfast or lunch) I recommend coming by here. The prices are affordable, you get good quality food and big portions for a reasonable price, and have plenty of snack and drink options to choose from. We will definitely be back herez
